Pharmaceutical pot & lid, mottled dark blue on white background. Previously belonged to Samuel Nelson White, pharmacist, 18 Fore St, Topsham, from 1948. The pot is believed to have been in use at the pharmacy since the mid 19thC & probably was acquired in 1824 when the pharmacy was established. Approx. diam 6-7”, ht approx. 8-9”.
