Brief description
'Cygnet'; rowing boat in shape of a cygnet was one of five tenders for the unusual swan-shaped yacht, the 'Swan of the Exe', designed by Captain Peacock a noted local inventor.
The Cygnet was on display in the Exeter Maritime Museum before being eventually acquired and restored by Topsham Museum.
4.67m length, 1.57m beam, 0.45m depth; measure length - outside point of stern to outside point of bows; width - extreme width of hull to outside planking; depth - top of hull to bottom of keel
