Eleanor Haswell was then 7 years old. She married Richard Holman and lived at the Elms. Richard Holman ran the ship yard where now stands Strand Court & from which England's Rose was fitted out & launched. This Eleanor is the Eleanor after which Eleanor's Bower is named.
